By downloading, installing, or using the Peptade application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and our Medical & Health Information Disclaimer, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

THESE TERMS CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER (SECTION 12). THEY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY. YOU MAY OPT OUT OF ARBITRATION WITHIN 30 DAYS AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 12F.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use Peptade. The App — including peptide information, peptide and compound tracking, manual dose logging, injection-site tracking, and all other features — is intended solely for adults. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. The App is for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Health and Peptide Information Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT DEFINES THE NATURE OF PEPTADE'S SERVICE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES REGARDING HEALTH DECISIONS.

2A. What Peptade Is

Peptade is a personal record-keeping, tracking, and education application for people who have chosen to research or use peptides. It helps you track the compounds, doses, cycles, and lifestyle habits you choose to record, keeps a research library of compounds, and — if you choose to run it — generates a goal-matched reading list of compounds (the "personalized stack") from your self-reported profile (age, gender, height, weight, activity level, physique level, and improvement goals) together with a single facial photo. The App covers a broad range of improvement areas including weight management, muscle growth and recovery, cognitive performance, immune support, longevity, hormonal balance, sexual health, hair growth, skin health, facial and aesthetic goals, and overall physical well-being.

For each compound in a personalized stack, the App shows its name, its route(s) of administration, its regulatory status, and a plain-language rationale explaining why it was surfaced for your goals. A personalized stack is a list of compounds to read about and, where appropriate, to discuss with a licensed prescriber. It is not a protocol: it contains no dose, no schedule, no cycle, no titration, and no instruction to combine, obtain, or take anything. How the list is assembled — and which part of it an AI model is and is not involved in — is described in Section 2G. Peptade does not produce or show you any facial score, rating, symmetry measurement, "aesthetic dimension," or diagnostic assessment — the facial photo is used only as one input to the stack generator (see Section 3).

2B. What Peptade Is Not

Peptade is NOT a medical device, medical service, healthcare provider, pharmacy, telehealth service, diagnostic tool, or clinical platform. It does NOT provide medical advice, clinical advice, pharmaceutical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dosing instructions of any kind. Compound information in the App is educational — NOT medical prescriptions, clinical directives, or treatment plans. The facial photo is analyzed only to help tailor the stack and does NOT produce a clinical diagnosis or a score shown to you.

Peptade does not replace consultations with physicians, specialists, pharmacists, or any other licensed healthcare professionals. The App operates entirely outside the scope of clinical medicine. Use of the App does not create a physician–patient, pharmacist–patient, or any other professional relationship between you and Peptade.

Peptade is not a "covered entity" or "business associate" under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Information you enter in the App is not "protected health information" under HIPAA, and Peptade makes no representation of HIPAA compliance. How we protect the health-related information you enter is set out in the Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

2C. About the Peptides

Most compounds in the Peptade catalog are peptides — naturally occurring amino acid chains, or synthetic analogs thereof, that act as bioactive signaling molecules. The catalog also includes a number of related non-peptide compounds (for example small-molecule metabolic agents) that are tracked and discussed alongside them. Each entry carries a regulatory status — whether the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved it as a medicine, and if so for what indication — and, for compounds that are not FDA-approved, an evidence label: "Established Research" (a substantial peer-reviewed literature), "Emerging Research" (preliminary evidence from early-stage studies), or "Experimental" (library reference only; such compounds are never placed in a personalized stack). These labels describe the state of the published research on a compound; they are not a judgment that any compound is effective, appropriate, or safe for you.

The regulatory status of individual peptides varies by country and jurisdiction. Some peptides may require a prescription in certain jurisdictions, while others may be available as supplements or research compounds. Many compounds discussed in the App have not been approved by the FDA or any other regulator for human use. It is your sole responsibility to verify the legal and regulatory status of any peptide in your jurisdiction before purchasing or using it.

2D. Educational Information, Manual Tracking and Nutrition

The research library and PepBot do not provide dose amounts, ranges, application frequencies, titration schedules, cycle lengths, preparation instructions, concentration conversions, injection volumes, syringe-unit calculations or half-life estimates for any compound, including FDA-approved medicines. Regulatory status and educational research information remain available. Medication decisions belong with a licensed healthcare professional.

You can manually record your existing plan: compound identity and administration route, total and remaining supply, fixed dose or user-entered titration steps, doses per day, schedules, cycles, dates and notes. Peptade does not choose or adjust these values. Reminders and inventory displays are bookkeeping aids derived from your entries, not medical instructions.

Peptade has no medication preparation calculator or estimated drug-level chart. Its nutrition calculator estimates calorie and macronutrient targets from your profile. Nutrition estimates are general information, not medical or dietary advice.

2E. Injectable Peptides — Additional Warning

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING ANY INJECTABLE PEPTIDE, YOU MUST CONSULT WITH A LICENSED PHYSICIAN OR QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER BEFORE PURCHASING, RECONSTITUTING, OR ADMINISTERING ANY INJECTABLE PRODUCT. This applies regardless of whether a prescription is required in your jurisdiction.

Injectable peptides carry additional risks including but not limited to infection, allergic reaction, nerve damage, and adverse events from improper reconstitution, contaminated supplies, incorrect technique, or dosing errors. The App's injection-site tracker records your entries and does not replace hands-on instruction from a licensed healthcare provider.

2F. Your Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Any decision to research, purchase, use, administer, or discontinue any peptide or compound is made entirely at your own risk and discretion.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying the legal and regulatory status of any peptide in your jurisdiction.
  • You will consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning, modifying, or discontinuing any peptide regimen, especially if you have pre-existing conditions, are pregnant or nursing, or are using prescription medications.
  • You will consult a licensed physician before using any injectable peptide.
  • You will not rely on Peptade's manual dose logging, calculators, the AI assistant, reminders, or the tracking features as personalized medical guidance or as your only safeguard against a dosing error.
  • Individual results vary and Peptade does not guarantee any specific outcome from the use of any peptide or feature.
  • You assume full responsibility for any health decisions made based on information provided by the App.

2G. FDA and Regulatory Disclosure; How a Personalized Stack Is Assembled

Compound information, manual dose logging, calculator outputs, and all other information provided by Peptade have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory body for the specific claims described. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Your personalized stack is divided into two clearly separated sections, and they are not the same kind of thing.

  • FDA-approved medicines. Shown first. This section is populated by a fixed database rule, not by an AI model: a compound appears here only when the FDA has approved it as a medicine AND the indication the FDA approved it for has been matched, by Peptade's catalog, to a goal you selected. Every compound in this section is a prescription medicine. Listing one is a statement of regulatory fact and a starting point for a conversation with a licensed prescriber — it is not a suggestion that you obtain or take it, and Peptade cannot prescribe it to you. The rationale shown beside it is the approved indication itself. If no approved medicine in the catalog is indicated for a goal you selected, this section says so and shows nothing.
  • Emerging research compounds. Hidden until you choose to reveal them, behind a disclosure you must pass first. These compounds are not approved by the FDA or any other regulatory authority. An AI model selects and orders them from the catalog's research-eligible compounds — never from compounds marked "Experimental", never from custom entries — based on which published research relates to your goals, and writes the plain-language rationale. That research is early, incomplete, and in most cases has not been carried out in humans at the doses discussed online. For these compounds the App provides no dose, frequency, titration or cycle information of any kind.

Selection for the approved section is keyed to a compound's approved indication only — never to an off-label use, a community practice, or a related compound's approval. Approval is per-product and per-agency: a compound approved in another country, or a compound chemically similar to an approved one, is not treated as approved. In neither section does the App produce a dose, a schedule, a cycle, a titration, a combination, or an instruction to take anything. The AI model is instructed to make no therapeutic claim and to guarantee no outcome; those instructions constrain it but are not a guarantee that every output is correct (see Section 3B).

2H. No Sales, No Sourcing, No Endorsement

Peptade is a software application only. Peptade does not manufacture, sell, distribute, supply, dispense, prescribe, or ship any peptide, compound, supplement, or other substance. The App does not contain purchase links, vendor lists, supplier recommendations, or any information about where to buy any peptide, and Peptade will never direct you to any source of supply. Peptade receives no commission, referral fee, or other compensation related to the purchase of any substance.

The appearance of any peptide in the App's catalog or in your personalized stack is not an instruction, endorsement, encouragement, or recommendation that you acquire or use that substance. It is an informational, educational match between the known properties of the peptide and the goals you self-reported. Whether to acquire or use any substance — and where, whether, and how to lawfully do so — is entirely your own decision, made at your own risk and, where applicable, under the guidance of a licensed healthcare provider.

3. The Service and Your Content

Peptade provides: a personalized stack of compounds matched to your goals from your profile and a single facial photo; a peptide/compound tracker with dosing schedules, cycles and supply tracking, dose logging, and injection-site tracking; a peptide research library; an in-app AI assistant ("PepBot"); a nutrition calculator; Certificate of Analysis record-keeping; and lifestyle tracking for sleep, hydration, nutrition (including AI food-photo, menu, and barcode scanning), exercise/workouts with a muscle map, and body weight — with an optional Apple Health integration on iOS. To use these features, you may provide profile and tracking information and optionally capture photos (a facial selfie for stack generation, and food/menu/barcode photos for the nutrition features).

The stack generator is optional; the facial photo is required to run it. If you do not wish to provide a facial photo, do not run the stack generator — every other feature of the App, including the tracker, the research library, the calculators, the AI assistant, and all lifestyle tracking, works without it. Stack generation is also limited to a fixed number of runs per account, stated in the App before you begin.

You retain ownership of all content you provide (photos, profile, and tracking data). By providing content, you grant Peptade a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Facial photo handling: When you provide a facial photo during stack generation, it is uploaded to our secure storage and sent to a trusted third-party AI service, which extracts facial geometry and characteristics ("biometric data") used only to help tailor your stack. This data is not used for facial recognition, identity verification, advertising, sale to third parties, or training third-party AI models, and no score or rating is shown to you. A single front photo is used per generation. For complete details on collection, use, sharing, retention, and consent, see the Privacy Policy (Biometric Data Collection and Use).

Photos in the nutrition features (food, menu, barcode) are sent to our AI provider for identification only and are not retained as stored images by the App.

3A. Custom Compounds and User-Generated Content

The App allows you to add custom compounds that are not listed in the Peptade catalog. When you do so, the compound name and the administration method (oral, topical, or injectable) you select are stored as user-generated content ("Custom Entries"). Peptade does not pre-screen, validate, vet, attest to, or evaluate the safety, identity, legality, regulatory status, dosing, or clinical appropriateness of any Custom Entry. The Peptade catalog's regulatory status, evidence levels, contraindication notes, and AI-generated rationales do not apply to Custom Entries. Custom Entries are never used to generate a personalized stack.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LEGALITY, IDENTITY, AND CLINICAL APPROPRIATENESS OF EVERY CUSTOM ENTRY YOU ADD. DO NOT ADD CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES, ILLEGAL COMPOUNDS, PRESCRIPTION-ONLY MEDICATIONS YOU DO NOT LAWFULLY POSSESS, OR ANY CONTENT THAT VIOLATES APPLICABLE LAW.

You agree that Custom Entries and any other free-text you submit will not: (a) reference or describe controlled substances or illegal drugs; (b) impersonate, misrepresent, or use trademarks you do not have rights to; (c) contain offensive, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable language; (d) contain personal information about other people; or (e) violate any applicable law or third-party right. Peptade reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove, hide, or refuse to display any Custom Entry that, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or appears abusive. Removal of a Custom Entry may also remove related dose history. To report a Custom Entry that you believe violates these Terms, contact us at help@peptade.com.

By submitting a Custom Entry, you grant Peptade a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that entry within the App for the sole purpose of providing the service to you, and you represent and warrant that the entry complies with these Terms.

3B. AI Assistant, Reminders, Tracking, and Health Features

The App includes an in-app AI assistant, an AI food scanner (photo, menu, and barcode), a sleep tracker, a hydration tracker, an exercise/workout tracker with a muscle map, body-weight tracking, local dose and lifestyle reminders, and an optional Apple Health integration.

The AI assistant and food scanner send your input through OpenRouter to OpenAI's language and vision models, as described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy. PepBot's structured snapshot includes profile information, compound names, logging dates, body weight, sleep, activity and nutrition; it excludes medication amounts, preparation fields, injection sites and schedules. PepBot provides educational research information, app navigation and summaries of supported records. It does not calculate or recommend medication amounts or provide preparation, administration or half-life guidance, including for FDA-approved medicines. It does not recommend starting, stopping, obtaining or adjusting a compound, assess COA documents, or identify sellers. Questions outside this scope are directed to a licensed healthcare professional.

How the AI features are governed. AI output in Peptade is generated by third-party language and vision models and is probabilistic, not authoritative. It can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and identical questions can produce different answers. Accordingly:

  • AI output is informational only. It is never a diagnosis, a prescription, a treatment plan, or a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional, and no clinician reviews it before you see it.
  • The App applies content rules to its AI features — including refusing dosing information for compounds without FDA approval, refusing to recommend that you take, obtain, start, stop or adjust any compound, refusing to assess any Certificate of Analysis, and refusing to tell you where to buy anything. These rules constrain the assistant; they are not a guarantee that every output is correct.
  • You remain responsible for verifying anything you act on. Do not rely on an AI output as your only source for a health decision.
  • AI features are optional. You may turn them off at any time in Profile ▸ Privacy Settings ▸ Manage Consents, and the rest of the App continues to work.
  • Report a problem. If the assistant produces output that is unsafe, inaccurate, or inconsistent with these Terms, email help@peptade.com with what you asked and what it replied. We review reports and adjust the content rules accordingly.

Reminders are a convenience, not a safeguard. Dose, meal, water, sleep, and exercise reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device from the schedule you entered. They can be delayed, duplicated, or missed because of device settings, operating-system behaviour, Focus modes, low-power states, reinstalls, or App errors. Do not rely on a reminder, or on the absence of one, to decide whether a dose is due. Peptade is not responsible for any consequence of a missed, late, duplicated, or incorrect reminder, log, or alert.

All AI outputs, and all nutrition, sleep, hydration, exercise, and body-weight values, are approximate and for general self-tracking only — they are not medical, dietary, or clinical advice, are not a measurement or diagnostic device, and may be inaccurate. See the Medical & Health Information Disclaimer and the Privacy Policy for details. You are solely responsible for any dietary, sleep, training, or other health-related decisions you make, and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate. The Apple Health integration is optional, available on iOS only, and can be turned off at any time.

3C. Certificate of Analysis (COA) Records — "Verify Your Compounds"

The App lets you keep Certificate of Analysis documents against the compounds you track, read what a document states, scan a QR code or barcode from your packaging instead of typing it, compare a batch number against the one printed on your own vial, see which fields a thorough report generally contains, learn how to read such documents, and see whether the compound you are tracking is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration as a medicine.

PEPTADE DOES NOT TEST, VERIFY, AUTHENTICATE, VALIDATE, RATE, OR CERTIFY ANY DOCUMENT, LABORATORY, BATCH, VENDOR, OR PRODUCT. THE FEATURE'S NAME REFERS TO WHAT YOU DO WITH YOUR OWN DOCUMENTS; IT IS NOT A STATEMENT THAT PEPTADE HAS CHECKED ANYTHING. WITH THE SINGLE EXCEPTION OF THE REGULATORY-STATUS STATEMENT DESCRIBED BELOW — WHICH REPORTS A PUBLIC FDA RECORD ABOUT A SUBSTANCE — NO OUTPUT OF THIS FEATURE IS AN ASSESSMENT OF SAFETY, QUALITY, AUTHENTICITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE. THE REGULATORY-STATUS STATEMENT IS NOT ONE EITHER.

Specifically, and without limitation:

  • Regulatory status is reported; nothing else about a substance is. For compounds in Peptade's library, the App states whether the substance is FDA-approved as a medicine and, if so, for which indication and in what year, from the FDA's public Drugs@FDA record. "Not FDA-approved" is not a finding that a substance is unsafe, ineffective, or unlawful to possess; "FDA-approved" is not a finding that a substance is safe for you, at any dose, or from any source — approval attaches to a specific medicine for a specific indication, on prescription, under professional supervision. The status concerns a molecule and says nothing about the contents of your vial. It reflects United States status at a point in time, may lag changes in the underlying record, and is not an instruction to take or avoid anything. Where a compound is not in Peptade's library, the App says so and states nothing further; an absence of information is not a statement about a substance.
  • Scanning a code identifies nothing. Where you scan a QR code or barcode, the App records what the code contained and, if it is a web address, the site name. Such codes do not generally encode which substance is inside, and the App does not determine your compound from a scan — you select it yourself. The App does not retrieve the linked page, does not inspect it, does not check who operates it, and forms no view about any seller. Peptade maintains no register of vendors and makes no statement, favourable or otherwise, about any vendor, website, or supplier. Opening a scanned link is your own action, taken in your own browser, at your own risk; Peptade is not responsible for the content, safety, or conduct of any third-party site reached that way.
  • A COA describes a batch, not your vial. A Certificate of Analysis reports on a sample drawn from one production run. Even a report that was genuinely issued by the laboratory named on it says nothing about whether the vial in your possession came from that batch, was filled or labelled correctly, was stored within its temperature range, was handled properly in transit, or has been opened or tampered with.
  • Peptade does not determine whether a document is genuine. Fabricated reports attributed to real laboratories are known to circulate. Peptade does not detect them, does not flag them, does not maintain a list of laboratories, and does not check any report against any issuer's records. Where a laboratory publishes its own public report lookup, only that laboratory can confirm what it issued.
  • The batch comparison is performed by you. The App places the number recorded from your document beside the number you type from your vial and asks you whether they match. The App does not compare them, does not compute a result, and records only the answer you give. Your answer is a record of what you concluded; it is not a finding by Peptade.
  • The field checklist is not a score. The App reports whether a document carries each of certain fields. It produces no total, grade, percentage, or pass/fail, and the presence or absence of any field is not an assessment of the document or the product.
  • Transcription is not verification. If you enable AI features, the App may transcribe printed fields from a page of your document to save you typing. A transcription copies text; it does not confirm that the text is true, that the values are accurate, or that the document is what it appears to be. Transcription can be wrong, and you should check every value against the document itself.

Documents you upload are User Content. You represent that you have the right to store the documents you upload, and you grant Peptade a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display them within the App, and — only where you have enabled AI features — to transmit one page to our AI processor for transcription, in each case for the sole purpose of providing this feature to you. Peptade does not publish your documents, share them with other users, sell them, or aggregate them with other users' documents into any vendor, laboratory, or product signal.

You may delete any document at any time; deleting it, deleting the compound it is filed under, using "Delete Data", or deleting your account removes both the record and the stored file. Peptade is not a records-retention service — you should not rely on the App as your only copy of a document.

Nothing in this feature is advice about whether to use, return, dispose of, or acquire any substance, and nothing in it should be relied upon as a reason to do any of those things. Section 2 (Health and Peptide Information Disclaimer), Section 9 (Disclaimer of Warranties) and Section 10 (Limitation of Liability) apply to this feature in full.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Peptade offers premium features through in-app subscriptions purchased through the app store you downloaded the App from — Apple's App Store or Google Play (each a "Store"). Key terms:

  • Payment is charged to your Store account (your Apple ID, or your Google account) at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Store's subscription settings on your device. Deleting the App, or deleting your Peptade account, does not cancel a subscription.
  • Peptade does not issue refunds. Refunds are decided by the Store under its own policies, and a request is not a refund. A charge that was correctly made — including a free trial that converted because it was not cancelled at least 24 hours before it ended, or a renewal that has already been billed — is a valid charge and stands, except where the law of the place you live requires otherwise. Our Refund Policy (https://www.peptade.com/refund-policy) explains how to ask the Store.
  • Free trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
  • Subscriptions are offered on weekly, monthly, and annual billing periods. Which packages and prices you are shown may vary between users and over time, including as part of pricing tests.
  • Promotional and alternative offers — including any discounted package presented if you begin a purchase and then back out of it — are subject to availability through the Store and to the price, billing period, and auto-renewal terms displayed on that offer at the moment of purchase. The offer screen governs; please read it before confirming. A promotional package is normally a separate subscription product at its own recurring price, not a temporary discount applied to another one. Unless the offer expressly states an introductory period and a different price after it, the price shown is the price that recurs each billing period until you cancel — it does not later increase to a standard list price.
  • Where an offer is presented with a countdown or other "limited-time" framing, that describes how long the offer is being presented to you in the App. It does not shorten any cancellation or refund right you have, and it does not change the auto-renewal terms shown at the moment of purchase.

4A. An Account Is Required Before You Can Subscribe

You create a Peptade account (or sign in) at the end of onboarding, before any subscription offer is shown. You cannot be charged before you have an account. Every purchase is therefore tied to both your Store account and your Peptade account from the moment the Store confirms it.

Billing is handled entirely by the Store: your Store account is charged, and all charges, renewals, and refunds are governed by the Store's policies. If you reinstall the App or sign in on another device, use "Restore Purchase" with the same Store account you used to buy the subscription and your access will be reinstated. Deleting your Peptade account does not cancel an active subscription — you must cancel that separately in your Store's subscription settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Abuse, overload, or interfere with the App's AI or backend services.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App by automated means.
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.
  • Add Custom Entries (custom compounds) that reference controlled substances, illegal drugs, prescription-only medications you do not lawfully possess, trademarks you do not have rights to, or that contain offensive, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content (see Section 3A).
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Share or resell your account credentials.
  • Use Peptade's compound information, manual records, nutrition estimates, the AI assistant, or the personalized stack to provide medical advice, clinical guidance, dosing instructions, or health services to others, or in any clinical or commercial setting.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, algorithms, peptide catalog data, branding, and content (excluding user-provided content), is owned by Peptade and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Peptade lets you upload and store content — including photographs (a facial photo for stack generation, and meal or menu photos), Certificate of Analysis documents, custom compound entries, and free-text notes. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect you to do the same. It is a violation of these Terms to upload content you do not have the right to upload.

Designated agent. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), Peptade has designated an agent to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement:

How to submit a notice. To be effective under § 512(c)(3), a written notice must include substantially all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example, the account email and a description of the upload).
  4. Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

What we do. On receipt of an effective notice we will remove or disable access to the material expeditiously and make a reasonable attempt to notify the user who provided it.

Counter-notice. If you believe your content was removed in error or through misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing: your signature; identification of the material and its location before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district in which you reside (or, if outside the United States, any district in which Peptade may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed an action seeking a court order.

Misrepresentation. Under § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Repeat infringers. We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

7. Third-Party Services

Peptade integrates with third-party services to provide its features:

  • Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, file storage, and server-side functions.
  • OpenRouter / OpenAI: AI-powered facial-photo analysis, the rationales in your personalized stack and the selection of its emerging-research section, the in-app AI assistant, Certificate of Analysis transcription, and the food, menu, and barcode identification features.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and entitlement management (with the Store's billing system).
  • Superwall: Delivery of the subscription screens and pricing experiments — it decides which version of the paywall you see. It does not process payments. See our Privacy Policy, Section 5.
  • Sentry: Error and crash monitoring for the App and our backend services.
  • Nutrition and product data providers: A public nutrition database (such as USDA FoodData Central) for food and nutrient information, and a product database (Open Food Facts) for barcode lookups.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, the App Store, and (optionally) Apple Health.
  • Google: Sign in with Google, and Google Play (billing).
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook): Advertising measurement and attribution, so we can run and optimize our marketing. Subject to your App Tracking Transparency choice (see our Privacy Policy, Section 5A).
  • TikTok: Advertising measurement and attribution, on the same terms and subject to the same choice as Meta (see our Privacy Policy, Sections 5 and 5A).
  • Appstack: Install and campaign attribution measurement. Subject to your analytics choice (see our Privacy Policy, Section 5A).
  • PostHog: Product analytics to understand in-app usage and improve the App.

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Peptade is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, outputs, or conduct of any third-party service, and is not liable for any loss caused by a third-party outage, change, or error.

8. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App and your account at any time, with or without notice, with or without cause, at our sole discretion — including for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, legal or regulatory reasons, or discontinuation of the App or any feature. We will have no liability to you or any third party for any suspension, restriction, or termination of your access, or for any resulting loss of data or content, except where prohibited by applicable law.

You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account through the App's Profile screen, or by emailing help@peptade.com at any time — including long after you last used the App (see https://www.peptade.com/delete-your-data). Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any active subscription must be cancelled separately in your Store's subscription settings; deleting your account does not automatically cancel it, and termination does not entitle you to any refund (refunds are handled exclusively by the Store under its policies — see our Refund Policy).

Sections 2, 3, 6, and 8 through 15 of these Terms survive any termination.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, PEPTADE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (a) THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS OR BUGS WILL BE CORRECTED; (b) ANY DATA OR CONTENT YOU STORE IN THE APP WILL NOT BE LOST, CORRUPTED, DELETED, OR ALTERED — YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR OWN RECORDS OF ANY INFORMATION YOU CONSIDER IMPORTANT; (c) THE APP WILL BE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; (d) ANY AI-GENERATED ANALYSIS, RATIONALE, STACK, DOSING REFERENCE, CALCULATOR OUTPUT, ASSISTANT RESPONSE, REMINDER, OR NUTRITION/SLEEP/EXERCISE ESTIMATE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE; (e) THE CONTENT RULES, REFUSALS, OR OTHER SAFEGUARDS APPLIED TO THE AI FEATURES WILL PREVENT EVERY ERROR OR HARMFUL OUTPUT; OR (f) ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE THE APP DEPENDS ON (INCLUDING AI PROVIDERS, HOSTING, AND PAYMENT SERVICES, SECTION 7) WILL BE AVAILABLE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Personalized stacks and rationales are generated with the help of AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. All peptide and health information should be independently verified with a qualified healthcare provider. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you; in that case, they apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPTADE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA (INCLUDING LOSS, CORRUPTION, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OF DATA), SERVICE INTERRUPTION, COMPUTER OR DEVICE DAMAGE, COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, HEALTH OUTCOMES, BODILY INJURY, ADVERSE REACTIONS, OVERDOSE, UNDERDOSE, MISCALCULATION, IMPROPER ADMINISTRATION, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP — INCLUDING YOUR USE OF COMPOUND INFORMATION, THE PERSONALIZED STACK, DOSING REFERENCES, RECONSTITUTION INFORMATION, CALCULATORS, THE AI ASSISTANT, REMINDERS, THE TRACKING FEATURES, OR ANY OTHER CONTENT PROVIDED BY THE APP, AND INCLUDING ANY BUG, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DELETION, DEFECT, DELAY, SECURITY INCIDENT, OR FAILURE OF ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE — WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Aggregate cap. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF PEPTADE AND THE PARTIES LISTED ABOVE FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PEPTADE THROUGH THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).

THE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION ARE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN YOU AND PEPTADE, AND APPLY EVEN IF ANY LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Peptade, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of or access to the App; (b) your purchase, possession, preparation, or use of any peptide, compound, or other substance, whether or not based on information from the App; (c) any content you submit, including Custom Entries, notes, photos, documents, or other user-generated content, and any claim that such content is defamatory, infringing, unlawful, or harmful; (d) your violation of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Medical & Health Information Disclaimer; (e) your violation of any applicable law or regulation, including laws governing controlled substances or prescription medications; or (f) your violation of any rights of a third party. We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12A. Informal Resolution First

Before filing any claim, you and Peptade each agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally. Send a written notice describing the dispute to help@peptade.com. If the dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days of the notice, either party may commence arbitration as set out below. This step is a prerequisite to starting arbitration.

12B. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the App are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law grants you non-waivable rights or protections (including under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, or similar laws), nothing in these Terms deprives you of those rights, and Sections 12C and 12D do not apply to the extent such law makes them unenforceable against you.

12C. Binding Arbitration

Except as provided in Section 12E, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the ADR Institute of Canada under its Arbitration Rules in effect at the time. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator, in English, seated in Toronto, Ontario, and — unless you and Peptade agree otherwise — may proceed by videoconference, by telephone, or based on written submissions. Payment of filing, administration, and arbitrator fees will be governed by the administrator's rules. The arbitrator has exclusive authority to resolve any dispute about the interpretation, applicability, or enforceability of this arbitration agreement, except that the enforceability of the class action waiver in Section 12D may be decided only by a court. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

If twenty-five (25) or more similar arbitration demands are filed against Peptade by the same or coordinated counsel, the parties agree that the demands shall be resolved in staged batches of up to 25, selected by the parties in alternating turns, and any applicable limitation periods are tolled while a demand awaits its batch.

12D. Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver

YOU AND PEPTADE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, CONSOLIDATED ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. All claims must be brought in the parties' individual capacity only. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief. If a court finds this class action waiver unenforceable as to a particular claim, then the arbitration agreement in Section 12C shall not apply to that claim, which shall proceed in court under Section 12G — but this waiver remains fully enforceable as to all other claims.

12E. Exceptions

Either party may (a) bring an individual claim in small claims court (including the Ontario Small Claims Court) if it qualifies, and (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or prevent unauthorized access to or abuse of the App.

12F. Your Right to Opt Out of Arbitration

You may opt out of Sections 12C and 12D by emailing help@peptade.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms, with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your name and the email associated with your account. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

12G. Venue for Non-Arbitrable Disputes

For any dispute not subject to arbitration, you and Peptade consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and you waive any objection to such venue, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12H. Time Limit on Claims

To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose; otherwise, it is permanently barred.

13. App Store and Platform Terms

13A. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and Peptade only — not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and intellectual property claims. Your use of the App must comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13B. Google Play

For the App as distributed through Google Play, these Terms are between you and Peptade only — not with Google LLC ("Google"). Google is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and intellectual property claims. Your use of the App must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for purchases made through Google Play are governed by Google Play's billing, subscription, and refund policies; Peptade does not issue refunds for Google Play purchases except where required by law.

14. General Provisions

  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable (or, if not possible, severed), and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and the Medical & Health Information Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Peptade regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements on that subject.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. Any waiver must be in writing.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
  • Force majeure. Peptade is not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or infrastructure failures, or failures of third-party services.
  • Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 2, 3, 6, and 8–15) survive.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website (https://www.peptade.com/terms) and updating the Effective Date above. Your continued use of Peptade after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
